Cherry has been a

Some
Do’s and Don’ts to Get a Good Reading |

Do:
Prepare yourself and have a purpose for the reading
Most readers cringe when
they ask a client what they
want to know about and the answer is ‘the future.’ The future is a very
broad subject, such an reply makes it hard for your reader
to define the scope of the reading which can make it
difficult for the
reader to get clarity. So, prepare a list of
questions, and then prepare yourself. Clear your mind of cares and worries of the day
and let go of your projections and expectations - those “wants and wishes”
that are so important to you can bounce back in a reading as
fact, when it’s only your wishing so hard... |
Don’t...expect
the reader to make your decisions for you.
We’re often asked for lucky numbers and the most
fortunate days for marriages, births, business ventures and so
on. Numerologists and astrologists can give some good guidance
for this. But if we were able to make such accurate predictions
off the top of our heads every day, I can assure you, we wouldn’t
be working so hard! Psychics can provide good insights and
information - guidance - second opinions - but they can't
run
your life and certainly don’t want
to. Use a reading as an additional source of information and use your own instincts and intuition.
You will only get the information that the Divine wants
you to know, a reading will not fix your life just
like reading a diet book will not automatically
make you thinner. Be realistic. |

Do:
Give some feedback
A psychic can't work in a vacuum, we need a little feedback,
too! If the reader is accurate (as far as you know), then let
them know. If you feel he or she is on the wrong track, speak
up. Of course, what you thought you wanted to discuss may never
come up. The issue you asked about may never develop or fade away.
If a reader is getting strong perceptions about some other
area, s/he will let you know. Expect to be surprised. If you are
clear and direct with the reader about what’s going on in your
life and what you want to know right now, you’ll have a much
better chance of getting an accurate reading that provides you
with some good guidance and direction. |
Don’t...assume
the reader has eyes in the back of their head.
The “Stump the Psychic” game that skeptics encourage as a
first step in getting a good reading is a waste of valuable time
and money—and will often put off even the best psychics so
that they lose their enthusiasm to read for you. Of course, it makes sense
to be somewhat skeptical—especially when
someone is offering curse removal, but it’s truly a waste of
time to hide your wedding rings and change your names or
withhold information about your circumstances. The reader will not get a
microchip inserted informing them of your past, present,
future and every person in your life. However, if you
want the reader to focus on the future, give him or her a little
background so the time spent is not getting validation on what
you already know. Time goes very quickly in a reading and
you may have the reader spend most of it
going over the past. |

Do:
Choose the time carefully.
Avoid getting a reading when you’re depressed - unless
that’s what you want the reading to be focused on. While a
reading in the midst of a crisis can be useful in helping you
figure out how to deal with it, it’s definitely not the best
time for a life reading since anything that shows up at the moment will
be influenced by the crisis. It’s best to wait until
the dust has settled before you take a long-range
view of your life. If you do decide to get a reading when life
seems difficult, be prepared to hear some
information you may not want to hear. You
may have some big changes to make in order
to get your life back in order. Before the reading, take a few deep breaths,
ground yourself, and try to generate some loving peaceful energy
around you. |
Don’t:
Expect a serious reading, unless you’re taking it seriously.
If you’ve been taking alcohol or drugs, it can be very
difficult for even the best readers to wade through the fog to
find the clear answers you’re wanting. If you’ve just eaten
a big meal, had a fight with your partner, or not
feeling well, these also can impact the quality of the reading -
and the tone. So, even if you’re doing the reading “just for
fun,” take it a little seriously: calm and clear yourself,
even for a few minutes, before you sit down for the reading so
your energy is strong and balanced. Remember, you are getting
Divine information--this is a gift! If
you have a negative attitude then the
messages that come through may be negative also. Good rule to go
by: vague question=vague answer, silly
question=silly answer, specific
question=specific answer. |
